Wetpaint Entertainment was lucky enough to score a few minutes with Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina) at the Labryrinth Celebrity Charades in New York City on November 14 — and we of course had to ask about Georgina’s much-hyped return for Blair Waldorf’s (Leighton Meester) upcoming Royal Wedding.
So is Georgina really going to crash Blair’s big day? And who does Michelle think Queen B should ultimately end up with? Read on to find out!
So, what can you tell us about Blair’s Royal Wedding?
Well, I can say this. Out of the main cast, Georgina’s the only one wearing black! She’s more in mourning than in celebration.
Is Georgina invited to the wedding — or does she crash it?
(With a big smile) You look so pretty tonight!
No, seriously, does she crash?
(Smiling again): Really, really pretty. I like your sweater.
[Editor’s note: Evading the question? Hmm... We’re just going to take that as a “yes.” But only because we really want it to happen!]
What was your favorite part about filming the Royal Wedding?
Well, we’re still filming it. But it’s everyone just dresses completely to the nines. It’s hard for us to sit down in our gowns though!
Are you team Chair or team Prince?
Oooh. I don’t know. Georgina’s team no one. But Michelle loves a love story. Oh god, I just spoke about myself in the third person! I guess I’m team Chuck.
Will Milo [Georgina’s young son] be involved in any of the drama?
Milo and I were working this morning. So, yes.
Anything else about the wedding you can dish on?
I have to get everything I say approved by the producers. I even had to get their permission to send out the tweet of me in the fascinator this morning. I was like, There’s 50 paparazzi shooting us, I think it’s ok!
